Beginning Monday, March 15, 2010 through Monday, March 29,2010, the Port Clinton Lift Bridge is scheduled to be closed for maintenance. Access from the east (Route 163, and downtown Port Clinton) to the Commodore Perry Inn and Mr. Ed's Bar & Grille will need to be routed using State Route 2 (highway), over the Portage river, exiting Lakeshore Drive (Route 163) west of Port Clinton and the river, then proceeding east on Route 163. Our facilities will be on the right, just northwest of the drawbridge being serviced. Hotel, restaurant, and bar services will remain in full operation during this period. BOWLING GREEN (Monday, March 8, 2010) – The Ohio Department of Transportation (ODOT) District Two announces that beginning Monday, March 15, at 8am through Monday, March 29, the Port Clinton Lift Bridge (SR 163) over the Portage River will be closed to vehicular traffic for bridge repair.
